New Orleans + Jazz

two words which express the joy of life and a very special atmosphere.
An attraction to which Hans Peter Tress could not resist during his trip
to New Orleans which lasted 8 weeks.

The city at the Mississippi is vibrating to the rhythm of music which
has put its stamp on it: whether its the sound of the streetbands, the
concerts all nights or just the good old radio which makes your leg
move.

New Orleans - thats the direct contact of Jazzmusicians and audience;
sweat-covered musicians and fascinated listeners, who are united in the
exciting rhythm of jazz, in the pulsating staccato of the brassbands.
Impressions which were the godparents of the "rhythm boiler street
band".

It took two hard years until the striving to have an own band came true:
since january 2001 it exists: the band where 9 excellent professionell
musicians demonstrate impressively that jazz with its tremendous feeling
of life is all but an old auntie.

Style and Inspiration of the "rhythm boilers" are modern Oldtime and
Traditional Jazz, as played nowadays by brassbands from New Orleans.

With their music the "rythm boilers" like to reach the people who listen
to Oldtime Jazz as well as modern orientated Jazzlovers. Oldtime, Swing,
BeBop - the "rhythm boilers" feel at home in all ranges of the jazz
mainstream using their knowledge and enthusiasm for music.

They will play at festivals, in clubs and pubs and all occasions.
